After finding the prefect home and community to make our next move, COVID19 hit! We decided to press on with our plans to sell our house, leave Mississauga and build a new home in Innerkip, Ontario. Both Jorie and Cody were with us each step of the way as we got ready to put our house on the market. We have worked with Jorie in the selling and buying of two of our homes. Through it all she has guided us through with her professional approach. They provided my brother and I with the most fantastic assistance in selling
our family home after our Mother passed away at the age of 92.
They came into the house to assess the property at it’s absolute worse; we
were in the process of cleaning out 30 years of stuff and furniture, there
were garbage bags all over the house, and a dumpster in the driveway.
Jorie and Cody’s expertise was evident when they saw through all the
mess, and provided ideas to bring out the home’s potential.
They provided stellar advice on specific upgrades that were required to
present the property at it’s best; decorating tips, gardening tips, and
updating specific areas with cost efficient items.
Both Jorie and Cody provided hands-on assistance for my brother by accompanying him to
the flooring company, and Home Depot to lend their expertise in choosing
colours, and fixtures to update the look of the house.
The final product that was presented on the MLS listing was amazing! We
could not believe it was the same house!! They priced the property well,
and within 3 hours of the listing, we got our first offer.
Within the next several hours, we got a total of 4 offers; Jorie worked her
magic with the different agents for each buyer, and negotiated a firm offer,
which was over the asking price, no conditions, an immediate down
payment, and closing date of less than 1 month.
We are both beyond grateful for Jorie and Cody’s expert assistance
throughout the entire process.
